Welcome to Ian Fitz-Gerald’s Website

A Personal Note from Ian

When I started as an advisor with RBC back in 1997, I had no idea just how much the industry would evolve—or how rewarding it would be to help clients navigate the changes along the way. I feel incredibly fortunate to have spent over two decades building relationships with individuals and families, guiding them toward financial confidence and lasting legacies.

Growing up in a small farm town in the Ottawa Valley, hard work and dedication were second nature. These values were cemented by a high-level dedication via athletics to both hockey as well as committing to two Canadian university football programs. Those values as well as experience gained in the industry (including time spent with Canada Trust & TD Asset Management in the 90s) have shaped how I approach wealth management today. My team and I take a deep dive into your financial picture, ensuring every plan we create is tailored to your unique goals. Whether it’s securing your retirement, growing your wealth, or leaving something meaningful for the next generation, we’re here to support you every step of the way.

I invite you to explore my website, learn more about our approach, and see how we can work together to build a plan that fits your life. With every new household account, our clients are privy to expert money management (which includes two meeting per year), annual reviews of the household’s financial plan, a Will & Estate review, and your very own insurance ‘audit’. Not only that, but our team will also take the time to give you a sense of comfort & convenience by walking you through RBC’s digital experience which include online tax work as well as monthly statements.

Looking forward to connecting…

Ian
